TermSquad is an always-on cloud computer for AI agents. It combines a persistent Linux environment with a Web Terminal, remote SSH access, persistent sessions, Squad orchestration, shared memory, and managed infrastructure.
What happens when I close my laptop?
Your agent sessions run on your TermSquad Computer, so disconnecting your laptop does not stop them. Reconnect through the Web Terminal or a compatible remote SSH tool to return to your work. The cloud computer must remain running.
Which AI agents and desktop tools can I use?
You can run compatible Linux agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode. Desktop tools can connect when they support remote SSH environments. Use your own subscriptions or API keys wherever your chosen agent supports them.
How are persistent sessions different from Squad Memory?
Persistent Sessions preserve the work. Squad Memory preserves the knowledge. Sessions keep a running workflow available after you disconnect; Squad Memory stores durable project decisions, context, and handoffs that compatible agents can use across sessions.
Are AI subscriptions and usage included?
AI subscriptions and usage are not included. TermSquad provides the computer; you choose the agents and AI. Bring your own subscription or API keys and pay your chosen provider separately.
Do I need to manage a server myself?
TermSquad handles provisioning, the platform security baseline, maintenance, and supported lifecycle operations. You control your repositories, files, agents, and installed project tools. Backup and restore availability depends on your computer and plan; the app shows the supported actions.
