What does fully managed mean?

Fully managed AI agent hosting means TermSquad sets up and maintains your Linux cloud computer, including platform components, security defaults and supported recovery operations. You control your projects, compatible agents and development tools.

What’s managed. What’s yours.

Less server work.
Just as much freedom.

Zero VPS setup required. Your computer arrives with the foundation in place, and the ongoing platform work is handled for you.

Your computer, through every stage

The controls you need.
The effect, explained.

Manage your computer from one app. Available actions depend on your computer’s state, plan and backup availability.

Restart, stop & start

Control your computer’s power from the app.

Your disk is preserved. Running processes are interrupted when you restart or stop.

Restore a backup

Return to the provider backup shown in your account.

Requires an available backup. Later file changes can be lost; TermSquad repairs access after restore.

Upgrade your plan

Move to a supported higher plan when you need more resources.

Available upgrades appear in the app. The computer reboots during the upgrade.

Reset your computer

Reinstall Linux and the managed setup for a fresh start.

Erases the computer’s data. A reset is destructive and cannot be undone.

What does TermSquad manage?

TermSquad manages Linux provisioning, networking, managed users, firewall and SSH defaults, automatic OS security updates, its own platform components, health checks and supported computer lifecycle operations. Your projects and the software you add remain under your control.

Can I install my own tools and agents?

Yes. You can add compatible Linux tools, clone repositories and configure your project environment. Use the agent account for everyday work and the admin account when administrative access is needed. Bring your own AI subscriptions or API keys; AI usage is billed separately by your provider.

Does TermSquad update my agents and Herdr?

TermSquad installs a verified Herdr release during initial setup and Reset. After installation, Herdr updates remain under your control. TermSquad platform maintenance does not automatically update Herdr. You also manage your agent tools, applications and project dependencies.

Will security updates restart my computer?

Automatic OS security updates are configured without automatic reboots. Some updates may still need a restart to take effect. Manual restarts, supported upgrades and recovery operations can interrupt running work; persistent sessions do not survive every machine operation.

How do backup and restore work?

The app shows the latest provider backup when one is available. Restore restores the available backup, then TermSquad repairs platform access and checks the computer and terminal. Files return to the backup’s state, so later changes can be lost. Availability and retention depend on the computer and plan; check the backup shown in your account.

What is the difference between Restart and Reset?

Restart preserves the disk and reboots the computer, interrupting running processes. Reset erases the computer’s data and reinstalls Linux and the managed setup. Use Reset only when you intend to start over; it is not a normal restart.
